We have done it again – AG Farms!

We take the pleasure in announcing that Al Ghalia Farms has been certified for the 5th year in a row with Global GAP (Good Agricultural Practices), BRC (British Retail Consortium) Global Food Safety, LEAF Marque (Linking Environment & Farming), SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit), ISO 9001 - 2008 certifications from Acerta, Spain. We are the only accredited grower in the country and are proud to share this news with you.  In our efforts to serve you with the best quality and most safe food, we have taken the initiative to audit our production and post harvest packaging facility and implement HACCP standards to comply the Global food safety norms.

Global G.A.P. – This is a standard bench mark for Good Agricultural Practices, hygiene and product traceability, reassuring consumers that farm – grown produce on their plates originates from reliable growers

LEAF Marque Linking Environment & Farming is a food label consumers and the food industry trust based on environmentally responsible Integrated Farm Management and sustainable agriculture. It aims to meets the economic needs of farmers, addresses the concerns of consumers, minimises any impact on the environment and conserves and enhances the fabric and wildlife of the countryside for future generations.

BRC, British Retail Consortium: The British Retail Consortium (BRC) is the leading trade association for UK retailing. This standard is recognized as a GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) benchmarked food safety scheme. They facilitate standardization of quality, safety, operational criteria and manufacturers’ fulfillment of legal obligations. They also help provide protection to the consumer.

SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit): SMETA is one of the most widely used social audit procedures in the world. It provides a globally-recognized way to assess responsible supply chain activities, including labor rights, health & safety, the environment and business ethics.

ISO 9001-2008: ISO 9001 Certified” means an organization has met the requirements in ISO9001. ISO 9001:2008 is focused on meeting customer expectations and delivering customer satisfaction. The standard helps any organization to achieve consistent results and continually improve the process.
